Wisdom is gained through a direct personal connection with life experience. It is accessed in the present moment where we experience what is inherently true.

Knowledge is a mental process often gained by studying other people’s wisdom. Sometimes it’s remembering information gained from our own wisdom, as opposed to actually experiencing it in the present moment. That makes that information less grounded and less likely to be relevant in the moment.
