Up and down, the roller coaster keeps surging – the well-being of our world at stake.
The person of consciousness has won, poised to take the helm, succeeding in the midst of perilous times and adversity. We give a sigh of relief!
Then quickly follows a barrage of out-of-control threats, plunging us down again.
Will the lawyers find some way to undermine the votes cast before officials certify them? What will they do next to undermine the truth of who won? How much damage will the dysfunctional one cause before he is finally pushed out? How will we recover from the damage? In the meanwhile, no relief in sight for those in dire financial straits.
Will there ever be solid ground, or will those who seek power and control always find ways to get the upper hand?
What if conscious ones win the House and Senate, as well as the presidency, and can push through enlightened agendas? When things are going well and a way forward shows up, that’s one thing.
But when things are not going well, and from a place of consciousness, we find the way forward – that’s quite another. We’re co-creating with a Larger Source.
A person of consciousness is poised to take the helm. He sees the world in terms of relating to human souls, rather than winning power-struggles. His interest in being in office is to actually be of help to the world.
Used to bullies, he doesn’t define his experience based on what they do or say. He knows there is something more valuable and powerful than grabbing power and winning power-struggles. He’s focused on a larger vision, rather than allowing external circumstances to define reality for him.
These challenging times require something more of us – not just winning the government control. Raw power in control doesn’t solve human dilemmas. Unless we give up the power-struggle and open up to the truth of what’s needed, to what really matters to us as a whole and its, sometimes conflicting, individual parts, there will continue to be this back and forth roller coaster of grabbing power and control from each other.
We’ve now experienced, close up, the extreme of what happens when grabbing power and control becomes the end all — overriding logic, truth, good sense, conscience, and decency as foundations for reality. What is most frightening are the large groups of people accepting this distorted alternate world as their new reality, seduced by its promise of solving their problems.
This extreme we have been experiencing brings to consciousness the terrifying history that exists still in our conscious memory, of the horror that can occur when a megalomaniacal dictator creates a compelling enough alternate world.
This is not just about our current political situation. It is an opportunity to shift the foundation we are relying on. And that foundation results in what we end up experiencing in the world.
We are always faced with a choice: We can go toward easy solutions, trying to control truth to suit our purposes, where we can feel in control over what makes us feel good and powerful — or we can go toward consciousness that reveals truth and usually requires transformation, growth, and change.
