Our conditional human perception of love
elicits being-in-love fantasy dreams
floating in an unreal world.

We lean on the other to feel
valuable, loved, empowered, that we matter, are wanted, safe…

Making the in-loved-with person our plumb line,
around which we orient our lives,
we expect the rewards of Divine bliss,
within our human control.

Actual Divine Love orients us around Divine Source,
beyond our control.

Within Divine Love, each connection with another is unique,
as different aspects of Divine nature, attributes, and wonder reveal themselves
the deeper we go.

Humor, joyfulness, creativity, vulnerability, intelligence, life, inspiration,
deepening levels of truth, different perspectives opening up
— touching us deeply in our soul.

Each Holy Encounter holds the potential to challenge the human distortions and limitations
that keep us from being present with our Divine nature,
giving us the opportunity to expand beyond them.

When keeping the Divine as our plumb line, and inviting in Guidance,
our relationships support us in co-creating with Divine Source
rather than supporting our substitute worlds.

In Divine Love, as in human love,
a particular relationship may feel most important.

In Divine Love it is where we feel the deepest Divine connection.
Just make sure to not confuse the human vehicle for Divine Source.
